MeetMind is a gentle reminder to start recording or transcripts in Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. It runs entirely in your browser. No data is ever sent anywhere.
What MeetMind does
MeetMind is a gentle reminder to start recording or transcripts in Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
- It reads on-page meeting cues to decide whether a reminder is helpful.
- It does not start recording for you and does not click anything on your behalf.
- Current release scope: Google Meet + Microsoft Teams Free (teams.live.com). Paid Teams advanced external detection is documented as future WIP.
What we store
MeetMind follows GDPR principles (data minimization, purpose limitation, and storage limitation). Processing happens locally in your browser.
- Stored: your settings only (in Chrome sync storage).
- Minimal reminder state (whether a notification was sent) is held in browser session storage and cleared when the browser closes.
- Not stored: meeting titles, participant names, emails, or chat content.
- No network calls, analytics, or telemetry.
- Meeting signals are kept in memory and cleared when the tab closes.
Controls like Always remind, Reminder timer, Participant range, and Idle tab cleaning are settings you control locally from the popup.
Permissions we use
MeetMind requests only what it needs to function:
- notifications: send reminder notifications.
